Has to work even without calling the downloader before.

  • Has an attribute for the metadata table
  • Has a collection as an attribute

Methods:

  • generate_suggestions:
    • Generate metadata suggestions by running a postprocessor that is a subclass of yt-dlp's ParseMetadataPP (remember to respect special suggestion values)
      • The first suggestion is always %(0:[field])s
    • Suggestions whose condition evaluates to false will not be processed. Use yt-dlp's match_filter_func to evaluate conditions.
    • Empty and duplicate suggestions will be removed
    • Returns a dataframe with lists as cell contents
  • save_metadata:
    • gets passed a dataframe with selected metadata and saves that metadata into the metadata table
